Transparency & Good Governance Report 2024

Our 2024 Transparency Report details Kudwa’s governance, activities and finances, reaffirming our commitment to accountability, ethical management and trust with our community, partners and supporters.

Transparency is not just a requirement for us — it is a responsibility.

After months of careful work, we are proud to publish Kudwa’s Transparency and Good Governance Report for 2024, prepared and validated by Debe Haber Asociaciones, a consultancy specialised in the Third Sector.

This report reflects our commitment to accountability, ethical management, and public responsibility, in line with Law 19/2013 on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance. It details how Kudwa is structured, how decisions are made, how funds are managed, and how our activities serve migrant and refugee communities.

What the report covers

  • Our legal status, governance structure, and internal decision-making
  • Our mission, values, and areas of impact
  • Activities carried out during 2024 and the communities reached
  • Financial information, including income sources and expenditure
  • Compliance with transparency, data protection, and volunteer regulations

All transparency blocks evaluated in the report were validated as transparent, including organisational structure, activities, finances, and communication with members.

We know transparency takes time, care, and resources — and this report did take us a long time to complete. But we believe it matters. Being open about how we work is as important as what we do.

We share this report with our community, partners, collaborators, and supporters as part of our ongoing commitment to trust, clarity, and collective responsibility.
